About
Allysa

Born in the Philippines, Allysa Blanco is a self-taught artist working primarily in acrylic, watercolor, and pencil on canvas and paper.

Her work centers on a recurring character — a monumental, closely-cropped melancholic face that gazes directly at the viewer, making it impossible not to stare back. This figure is rendered in a visceral, raw style of intricate line work, exploring the terrain between beauty and decay.

Inspired by modern literature and classic novels, Allysa's compositions carry a poetic passion and unapologetic sensuality. She explores desire, lust, creativity, and decadence — not as provocation, but as an honest expression of the human soul.

Her work has gained international recognition, recently placing in open art competitions alongside names in contemporary figurative art.
